Find Peace in this Frantic World

Practice Meditation and Mindfulness | Apply CBT Skills | Change Habits
Tuesdays| 6:15-8:00pm CST | Starts Feburary 2026 | 8 Weeks | On Zoom

Join us for a first-time journey into the best-selling book Finding Peace in a Frantic World by Mark Williams and Dr. Danny Penman.

While this course grew out of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, it’s offered in a welcoming, non-clinical setting. Whether you’re just beginning, you have an established practice, or you are returning to practice, you’ll find space here to slow down, explore mindfulness with curiosity, and see it through fresh eyes.

Whatever life throws at me, I’m OK …
I feel a lot more able to manage my thoughts, emotions and the stories I tell myself. I feel more at peace and grounded. Whatever life throws at me, I’m OK when I’m mindful.  An MBCT participant

I’ve learned how I can respond verses react
I’ve learned things about myself and how to recognize when I’m starting the downward spiral. I’ve become more mindful of situations as they arise and how I can choose to respond versus react. As a result, depression no longer controls my life. An MBCT participant

It’s what I’ve always wanted.
Seemingly out of nowhere, change happened inside me. I worry less and am content more often. I feel present in my everyday life. I’ve never felt like this before. It’s what I’ve always wanted.  An MBCT participant

… that’s what minds do.
My mind always wandered when I tried to sit silently. I’d get frustrated and judge myself so I stopped trying. Now I realize that’s what minds do. It’s all about practicing bringing my attention back to the present moment, not clearing my mind. An MBCT participant

Prior to entering the program, we ask that you purchase Finding Peace in a Frantic World to follow along and learn with us.

Your instructors will guide you through the process step by step, whether you are new to mindfulness or have practiced for years.
